description description description description description description description description description description description description description Although I have enjoyed drawing throughout most of my life and career, for the last few years I have taken a focused interest in learning to draw the human figure, by attending weekly life drawing sessions. I have been fortunate enough to draw a small variety of models with different shapes and sizes. At times I have found it difficult and frustrating but then also at times fun and rewarding (when it goes well).

Most of the time I use charcoal or colour pastels (or both) and occasionally brushes with colour inks. Currently I prefer using colour pastels because they are very portable and easily accessible to create a painterly and expressive image.
